Namesake Day
posted Monday, March 07, 2005 - 11:59 AM (#25786)
According to this list of lesser known holidays [suda.co.uk], Monday, March 7th 2005 is Namesake Day. To celebrate, search out someone with the same name as you, and if that's too hard, try for initials.

Apparently, i am either a famous Australian meteorologist; or i'm a designer and superintendent of chi-chi golf courses such as the one at Pebble Beach.

Who are you?

I'm a kite-flyer of some note in England, and the Stanford trombone player that interrupted the football game with Cal in 1982.

My birthday is Middle Name Pride Day. Cool.

Oh, and apparently I share a name with a musician and conductor at the Alcazar Theater in San Francisco in 1905. That or I'm named after a crappy Russian car.

Looks like I'm the only person with my name who has been spidered by google. I guess I'll have to breed and name one of them after myself.

My initials however seem to make me a industrial technology professor at some community college in Virginia. I have a blog titled for poking sharp things into people.
