Goats: The Geek Outfitter is one of those projects that happened because I'm too lazy for my own good. It's also one of those projects that is probably useful to no one but myself.
Basically, I found myself, within a short period of time, having to go to a lot of miscellaneous meetings, interviews, dinners, and other assorted wastes of time that I needed to look decent for. Being a geek, my sense of style is somewhat... unique. Also, because of the number and frequency of these occasions, Lauren wasn't always around to tell me what clothes I could actually wear at the same time, and I would find myself unable to remember which ties I was allowed to wear with which shirts. Faced with the prospect of having to write this information down on paper, I decided my time would be much better spent spending a few weekends putting together a database and web interface to deal with the information instead.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to make applications that are only accessible to one person, so now all of you are going to be subjected to it as well.
